The White Horse Inn is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team in Metamora, Michigan.
As one of Michigan's oldest and most iconic restaurants, we've welcomed guests through our doors since 1850. Following an extensive restoration in 2014, The White Horse Inn continues to honor its historic roots while delivering exceptional dining, memorable private events, and genuine hospitality in the heart of Metamora.

About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant while maintaining the high standards of service our guests have come to expect.
Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to jump in during busy service, coach and mentor team members, and foster a positive, professional workplace culture. You'll work closely with our team to ensure every guest enjoys the warm hospitality and exceptional experience that define The White Horse Inn.
Key Responsibilities
As Restaurant Manager, you'll help lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including:
Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations
Coaching, mentoring, and training team members
Delivering exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
Supporting team performance and accountability
Maintaining smooth operations during high-volume service periods
Resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care
Communicating effectively with staff and leadership
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have:
Previous restaurant management experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
A calm, professional approach under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
Experience coaching and developing employees
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
