There's no better way to experience the beauty and tradition of Metamora's equestrian community than the annual Metamora Hunt Stable Tour. Whether you're a lifelong horse enthusiast or simply looking for a unique Sunday outing, this self-guided tour offers a rare opportunity to visit some of the area's most beautiful private horse farms.
The 2026 Stable Tour takes place on Sunday, August 9, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, inviting guests to explore six remarkable farms throughout Metamora's renowned horse country.
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Metamora's Equestrian Heritage
Metamora has long been known as one of Michigan's premier equestrian destinations. Rolling countryside, historic barns, picturesque riding trails, and world-class horse facilities make the area unlike anywhere else in the state.
During the Stable Tour, guests will drive their own vehicles between six participating farms, gaining an inside look at the facilities, horses, and landscapes that define Metamora's rich equestrian tradition.
Whether you're interested in horses, architecture, history, or simply a scenic afternoon drive, the Stable Tour offers something for everyone.

Ticket Information
Advance Stable Tour tickets are now available for purchase at The White Horse Inn. Guests who purchase tickets in advance will still need to stop at Metamora Hunt Kennels on the day of the tour to pick up the required tour map before beginning the self-guided experience.
Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the event at Metamora Hunt Kennels.
