Spend a summer afternoon immersed in the rolling hills and equestrian charm of Metamora, Michigan. The Metamora Hunt Country Stable Tour returns Sunday, August 10, offering an up-close look at six private horse farms in one of Michigan’s most scenic rural communities.
What Is the Stable Tour?
This self-guided tour invites guests to explore six unique and privately owned stables throughout Metamora Hunt Country. It’s a rare opportunity to meet horses, chat with stable owners, and see firsthand what makes this area such a beloved equestrian destination.
Event Details
Start Location: Metamora Hunt Kennels
5614 Barber Rd, Metamora, MI 48455
Check-in: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Tour Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 2–3 hours to complete the full tour
At check-in, guests will receive a map with directions to each stable. Volunteers will be present at each location to assist with parking and answer questions.
Ticket Information
Adults: $40.00
Children (12 & under): $5.00

– On the day of the event at the Metamora Hunt Kennels (cash or check only)
All proceeds help maintain the historic bridle paths in Metamora Hunt Country.
