This year, the Metamora Hunt Country Stable Tour is taking place on Sunday, August 9, from 12-4 pm.

The Stable Tour is a self-guided tour of seven properties in Metamora and allows people to drive through the beautiful Metamora Hunt Country to see the stables and horses up close and personal.

The tour costs $25 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. The money raised will be used to maintain the bridle paths in Metamora Hunt Country. Advance tickets are available for purchase at The White Horse Inn or by calling the Hunt Master, Joe Maday, at 810-678-8384. You may also purchase tickets on the day of the tour at the Hunt Kennels.

To begin, show up at the Hunt Kennels (5614 Barber Road, Metamora) between 11 am and 2:30 pm. Here you will be given a map with the locations of the seven properties that are featured on the tour.  Volunteers will be at each farm to show you where to park and to answer any questions.

The tour will be held rain or shine, so dress for comfort and the weather. Please note that all Michigan COVID-19 mandates will be in effect including masks and social distancing.
